Sniper Elite involves the player taking on the role of a sniper and defends his or her position against waves of enemy soldiers using the latest technologies available in any war situation: automatic rifles, hand grenades, and an invisible wall that can repel attacks and still allow you to see the battlefield. In 2021, Sniper Elite: Conquer the Galaxy, a follow up to its successful first outing, was released to positive reviews and to much acclaim from gamers and hardcore fans everywhere. However, it is Sniper Elite that defined the genre.
